Dear 1962 Classmates,
It is now almost 55 years since we stepped to the bagpipe tunes of Clan MacPherson celebrating our graduation from Phillips Academy. Whether or not you can absorb this reality, it is time to reconnect with your classmates. The dates of this momentous occasion are June 9-10-11, 2016.
Festivities will begin on Friday morning with a golf outing. Mike Moonves and George Andrews are planning the outing, and it will probably take place at the North Andover Country Club. At stake is the Benner House Trophy. This has become an annual affair, and the number of participants is growing. No matter what your handicap, everyone is welcome.
In a few weeks the registration letter will be in your mailbox. It will contain the list of school activities, meetings, and dinners. We are also planning several meetings for our class. On Saturday afternoon we would like to have Charlie Stuart show us one of his documentaries and have Chris Nelson lead a seminar on current events. After these meetings we are gathering in the Chapel. Reverend George Andrews will lead us in a short memorial service. Then we head to the Addison Gallery for cocktails. Dinner will follow at Paresky Commons.
We are allocating rooms at the Andover Marriott Courtyard. It is about 15 minutes from campus, and it is an easy commute. For more information regarding reunion weekend, please visit www.andover.edu/reunion.

Over the field there’s a Blue Wave rolling.
